Suoneria

The recently built building is located in the courtyard of the “Casa della Musica“ complex of Settimo, Turin area. The concert hall layout has an elliptical shape. Its geometry enable the building to fit into the square shaped courtyard: the external walkways produced therefrom have variable sections. Inside the building, the elliptical shape offers a dual benefit in that it ensures better visibility of the stage and improves acoustics. The building exteriors are covered with a square-meshed steel plate cladding: this outer “skin” represent the most distinctive aesthetic feature, its iridescence under different light conditions suits the building’s nighttime utilization.
