Slow Life. Hotel de charme

Restoration and change in the intended use of a 17th century countryhouse on the hills of the Italian Umbria region. 25 rooms were built within the huge rural house already in place (about 1000 sqm), while the reception area has been placed in the newly built addition totaling 9500 cubic meters, which includes a new swimming pool and a restaurant. The project paid special attention to integration into the surrounding landscape, providing an architectural solution that blends with the surrounding hills thanks to the use of local materials like stone with natural split surface and environmentally compatible technologies.
